Come on out and see us!
๐๐ The Fondy Food Truck Festival is Tomorrow! ๐จ๐ถโ๏ธ
The wait is almost over! The Fondy Food Truck Festival is happening tomorrow, Sunday, September 20, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Oven Island at Lakeside Park, and all of us with Friends of Lakeside Park couldn't be more excited to bring this biannual event back to our community for the sixth year!
Mother Nature has certainly kept us on our toes this week with all the rain, but we're moving forward and looking forward to a fantastic day filled with family, food, and fun. We hope you'll come out, support our vendors, and spend the day with us.
Due to the significant rainfall and the saturated conditions on Oven Island, we've been working closely with the City of Fond du Lac to adjust the event layout and protect the park grounds. While the setup will look a little different this year, you'll still find all of your favorite food trucks and activities in one convenient area. An updated event map is included with this post.
A few important parking and traffic reminders: ๐ง There will be no parking on Promen Drive between the Pavilion and the Lighthouse Loop exit.
๐ง There will be no through traffic on Promen Drive during the event.
๐ Food trucks will not be located on the grass on the east or west sides of Oven Island as they have been in previous years. Instead, food trucks will be set up in the Oven Island parking lot and along the north side of Promen Drive.
โฟ Handicap parking will be available near the softball diamonds, with additional designated handicap parking spaces located on the east end of Promen Drive near the barricades.
And now for the fun part...
๐ 35 Food Trucks serving up an incredible variety of food and beverages
๐จ Art Vendors from the Fond du Lac Artists' Association
๐ถ Arilya performing live under the main shelter from Noon to 4:00 PM
โค๏ธ Local non-profit organizations
๐ Plenty of FREE kids' activities
Whether you're coming for lunch, staying for the music, shopping with local artists, or simply enjoying a beautiful day at Lakeside Park, there's something for everyone.
So grab your family and friends and join us tomorrow for a day filled with Family, Food, and Fun!
We can't wait to see you there! ๐๐ถโ๏ธ๐จ
