I was recently given this old egg scale, and I just think it is the NEATEST thing! 🥚🤎

Before eggs were sorted and packaged by machines, scales like this were used to weigh each egg and determine its size. I love thinking about how many eggs may have sat on this little scale over the years. 🥹

As most of you all know, I LOVE ALL THE — old, antique, and vintage things.

There’s just something special about pieces that have a story behind them. Some things are simply better with a little age and a whole lot of history. 🤎🌾

…And of course, I had to try it out with one of our Ermine Ameraucana eggs. ✨🩵🥚

We hatched a few little quail from our mixed coop today! 🤎

These babies are a fun mix of different colors AND sizes — so it’s always a surprise seeing what pops out of each egg! 🥚✨

This sweet girl is from one of our spring litters — LOOK HOW CUTE SHE IS!! 😭🤍

We absolutely love getting updates and seeing our babies growing up in their new homes!
