It’s fall here. the vineyard is nearly naked, the big elm (who had major surgery this year, is dropping her leaves and yes some flowers are still feeling summer vibes. Trixie and her pal Yogi have helped a great deal in the vineyard this year…it’s been a good year and in March we start over!
i wrote that but Meta suggested i change it to the following:
Autumn's presence is felt as some flowers cling to summer's warmth, but the vines now lay bare and the elm's leaves fall... a brief, three-month hiatus precedes the next seasonal awakening.
