It’s almost time to get these sweet blooms growing. Most of you know I take the summer off from growing. By the time fall gets here I’m more than ready to grow these beauties. I hope you follow along again this season!

From a tiny seed to armloads of blooms like these.

This is why I grow flowers.

If you’re already dreaming about what you’ll grow next season, now is the perfect time to start planning. I’m so excited to be partnering with Eden Brothers and sharing some of the flowers I love growing right here on our little Arkansas flower farm.

Today I’m packing my corms back up and storing them until it’s time to start all over again.

It’s funny how something so small and not-so-pretty can turn into buckets and buckets of the most beautiful blooms. That’s the magic of growing flowers—and exactly why I wanted to write Growing More Than Flowers. 📖🌱

I wanted a place where I could share what I’ve learned along the way and help YOU grow them too—from getting started, to planting, growing, harvesting and everything in between.

Because sometimes the most beautiful things really do start small.

Zinnias are not my favorite but I will say I love the pink tones of these. They may have jumped up on my list.

If you had told me a few years ago I’d be…

✂️ A hairstylist
🌸 A flower farmer
📖 An author

…I would’ve laughed.

Life has a funny way of taking you places you never planned to go, and I’m so grateful for every step of the journey. ❤️

🎬 Netflix US… I think there’s a story here. 😉

you’re planning to grow cut flowers this season, now is the perfect time to order your seeds, corms, and bulbs! 🌸🌱

The best varieties—especially stock, ranunculus, and anemones—often sell out long before planting time.

If you’re new to growing or just want to learn what has worked for me here in the South, my book walks you through everything from ordering to planting, growing, harvesting, and selling cut flowers.

Planning ahead now means you’ll be ready when fall planting season arrives. Happy growing, friends!

I couldn’t find another packet of the jalapeño pickle relish mix. So Minnie and I came up with our own spice mix. And this was even better. The best part of all of it was my little helper. What a fun weekend we had.

First time canning in a while, I made Mrs Wedge jalapeño pickle relish. So easy and so good. I’ve found prime day sale for canning supplies and will post link in comments

Now is the time to start planning and ordering your ranunculus and anemone corms, through some Stock seeds and my book in there too.
