Breakfast is alittle different this morning. Recently I’ve taken to making myself frozen peach 🍑 slushies but today I found some blueberries in the freezer and added some in.

Tastes wonderful!!

No added sugar. Organic fruit. All I did was freeze them and throw them in a blender.

Simple. 🤤

While I thoroughly enjoy hand piecing there is no way I’m gonna get this done by winter time to put on our bed. So I decided to kick things into high gear with the machine.

Isaac is down for a morning nap and because Alan helped me get alot done yesterday I have some free time at the machine.

As you all know we pick up roadkill deer. We use it to feed the chickens, fill our freezer and the bones are sold to individuals who use them for projects. NOTHING IS WASTED!

This year I will no longer have to wait on Alan to pick up the deer because my back is whack. 😉 This year I can do it myself with the help of my new roadkill lifter that attaches to the hitch of the truck! I can lift and spin the deer right onto the tailgate. 🙌

So as always if you are local to us PLEASE send us a message to locations of fresh roadkill deer you see. So we can put it to use!

Otherwise the state pays people to pick them up and they just toss em in the landfill for about $40 per deer. 🦌 And to me that’s a waste!

We have decided to part with our 3 year old bull Rufus. He is proven. Non aggressive. No hoof issues. We just want to switch over to beef.

He’s 1/2 Jersey 1/2 Holstein. He would be good for young heifers.
