next ceremony day and time is saturday, september 12 at keith and karen’s. we’ll start the fire after the new lodge is built. a larger lodge is needed due to our growing family. that’s such a good thing.

we usually start the fire around noon but depending on the lodge build time….

hello family. hope everyone is recovering nicely and doing very well.
We’re having a work weekend the fourth weekend of this month. 8/29 and 8/30 at the sundance grounds.
We’ll be burning pine boughs and cleaning up the sundance grounds to reflect… as if we had never been there.
We may also cut and split firewood to help replace what we used. If people could bring chainsaws, gas and oil that would be very good.
Also if we could have someone cut the grass that would certainly help peg and allen.
Saturday that weekend we’ll light the fire at 4 pm for the sweat lodge.

happy happy 4 th day of sundance. we welcome the sundancers and the supporters out of their commitment today. they are still sacrificing for all the relatives so let’s support them on this last day. yesterday i just gotta say was such a homecoming of hearts on the ground! wopila!! i took so many pictures with my mind and heart.
also tonight is our wopila ceremony right after feast on the sacred christmas tree grounds just up the hill in the big barn.
also after feast we will draw the winning ticket for the star quilt.
wonderful wonderful day to all our relatives seen and unseen but felt deeply.
wopila everyone and soon a happy happy happy new year!!
i hope you’re all sleeping well. whoever is tending that fire. thank you very very much.
