Woodall Family Farms

Woodall Family Farms My grandparents purchased the farm and moved in February of 1947 from their farm in Wanamaker, IN.

Located in southeastern Putnam County, Willow Birch Farm is named for the single Weeping Willow planted in our back yard in memory of my wife’s mother and for the numerous White Birch trees spread over my parents’ farm. Fast forward 71 years to today, the farm still remains, though vastly different in appearance; the barns have aged, trees have grown, and there is no livestock (with the exception

of one Hampshire and one Herford pig for our oldest daughter’s 4-H project). The kids, my wife, and I own a small subset of the original farm. Though we don’t currently operate on a large scale, the spirit of farming remains alive and well. Starting last year, we began gardening on a larger scale to provide fresh produce from our home and also at the Greencastle Farmer’s Market. We will supply many vegetables which you would find at local grocers, but also some that you won’t! As we develop relationships and establish a customer base, we are looking to expand in other areas (details to follow). We look forward to sharing with others what God has so richly blessed us with.
