Seen this today and thought well that hits home a bit to close only difference was the boy was 6 in charge of a 100hp tractor to lift me up to paint our second house.. only real regret I had was said ok let me down then I heard a evil laugh as my 5 year old just dropped the bucket as fast as it would go. I don’t think I touched the bucket for the first 3 feet.. 6 year old gave 5 year old a quick lesson in what to do but I think they forgot the safety meeting..

Dilly’s puppies are growing like weeds. This has been a really fun litter. We love raising animals with the kids. It allows us to instill ethical breeding practices when raising animals. It also prompts a lot of good discussions regarding gentics. Specifically with the dogs it has been great to see what color combinations and patterns arise with different pairings. This litter we had blue Merle, sable Merle, brindle, and tri color. The puppies are going fast with 3 spoken for out of the 7 already. Puppies are ready for their forever homes on October 1st. Parents are tested and puppies are free from any genetic conditions.

So I was told my great grandfather found a maple tree in the wild I believe I was told up the N. Fork area. He planted it in his yard in the 1940’s and 8 years ago when I moved that tree was huge. It had a few little starts around the house so I took them and we ended up planting is a wine barrel and we just got to busy to plant at our new house tell this weekend. 5 trees from 6 foot to 12 foot tall. I hope they continue to grow.
