Wander Creek Farm We are a Certified Organic, diversified vegetable farm in Greene, NY, using no-till, regenerative practices. Join our CSA! How do we do this? And you.

Our mission is to grow wholesome food to nourish our community and our soils. Quality: We plant varieties for taste, for nutrition, and for the novelty. We want you to smile with each bite. Diversity: Not just in the products we sell. Trees, bees, berries, birds. Perennials and pollinators. Whoever you are, you're welcome here. Community: Our sales are local. They are meant to circulate among and

strengthen the bonds of our community. As these become more established, we plan on hosting events. Imagine herbalism workshops, music, you-name-it. And of course eating together. Lots of eating together. Organic Matter: Through cover crops and compost, we build soil in a world where it's too often depleted. Minimal Soil Disturbance: We adhere to No-Till principles. That means maintaining the natural soil structure developed by the plants, fungi, bacteria, and animals inhabiting the understory of our fields. By letting the natural processes work their magic, we are gifted with reduced erosion, alleviated compaction, and stable soil nutrients. Healthy soils equals healthy plants equals healthy people. Chemical-Free: Synthetic fertilizers and chemicals are strictly avoided in favor of biological and cultural methods. Transparency: Ask us about our practices. There are no trade secrets here. We want to share everything we do and learn so everyone can benefit from our mistakes and success.

On-farm veggie sale today! 10:00am-3:00pm at 301 Quinn Road in Greene!

We didn’t go to one of our normal markets yesterday so we’ve got a lot of fresh produce that needs a home. Come get it! Open to all!

There is a lot of debris on the road but it is clear! (Thanks to the crews who were out promptly yesterday clearing roads!)

Market update for this morning 7/18:

We will NOT be at the Oxford Farmers’ Market today 😭 We had hoped the air quality would improve, but after this week, we are choosing not to risk being out in it all morning to protect our health. Oxford Farmers Market

We may likely have an on-farm pop-up sale tomorrow, Sunday, to make up for it! Stay tuned!

We WILL be indoors at the Broome Farmers’ Market this morning from 9:00-1:00pm with lots and lots of beautiful food and flowers!

This again. In case you’re wondering, it is not fun to wear a respirator while harvesting, or ever really, even though they look sorta badass and like they’re in an artsy little sci-fi flick.

Didn’t think respirators were going to be part of our regular ppe/tool kit, but glad to have them.

CSA members—thanks to you for showing up in it, and forgive me for not having the you-pick flowers more set/ready for you, Maya and I weren’t out much in this today.

Jonathan—outside 7am to 7 pm today, keeping it all flowing. Somebody get this guy a beach house vacation, ideally with some surf, asap.
