💥Just want to post regarding biosecurity and holds on rabbits so that there's no confusion in the future💥
As far as biosecurity goes, NOBODY is allowed in my bunny barn except for my family or other approved persons (even they have to go through precautions and prevention before entering). If you feel the need to see the conditions in which my rabbits live in before owning a rabbit from me, I'll be more than happy to send pictures, videos, or even video chat if that gives needed reassurance. I understand this may sound harsh to some, but it truly protects the health and safety of my rabbitry, livestock guardian dog, and also your farm or rabbitry.
Now for holds, this has been and still is an issue, so im going to go ahead and address it and change the way things work here. From now on, I will not hold rabbits longer than 7 days. This does not include folks ive had conversations with about a litter that isnt weaned and ready to roll yet, obviously. This has mainly been an issue with new or random clientele. I dont mind to work with folks, as my time is pretty flexible. However, I will not reschedule more than once, and I will not hold for forever. I usually have a waiting list that I need to work through, as well as other rabbitry obligations, and id prefer to not waste or disrespect anybody's time, as well as have my time done that way. If I message you and say rabbits are ready to roll out and I dont hear back from you in 24 hours (especially if im left on read), i will move onto the next client. I do have regular folks or other rabbitries that ive built a relationship with and have learned over the years that some of yall aren't as flexible with your time. No worries, yall have proven that you will show up when you say you will, and I will continue to work with yalls schedule.
I appreciate everybody's continued support and understanding of the new rabbitry rules. I apologize if this causes any inconvenience, but my rabbitry is my main priority.
