Hello to everyone from Buffalo Trail Orchard!! The blackberries are ripening fast so if you want some blackberries this is the time to get them. Pick your own (PYO) blackberries is open from 8:00 to 12:00 Tuesday through Saturday. PYO blackberries are $18 per gallon. PYO activities are not available on Sundays or Mondays. Picking buckets are available at the orchard but please bring containers to take your berries home.
If anyone has extra gallon buckets they don't need, drop them off at the orchard as I can use them.
When blueberries are available for PYO a posts will announce the actual date when they are available.
The farm store (including PYO activities) is self-serve much of the time, so bring small bills or a personal check for payment since change will not be available and credit cards are not accepted. Please call (423) 639-2297 and listen to the recorded message prior to coming out to the orchard to verify that fruit is available. God Bless.

Hello from Buffalo Trail Orchard, I left out the Payment Infomation in my last post concerning PYO blackberries! The following statement includes the Payment Information: The farm store (including PYO activities) is self-serve much of the time, so please bring small bills or a personal check for payment as change will not be available and credit cards are not accepted.. The self-serve red payment box is located inside the Apple Barn on the wall to the left of the exit door.

Hello to everyone from Buffalo Trail Orchard!! The blackberries are ripe and ready to eat so pick your own (PYO) blackberries opens tomorrow, Saturday June 13th. PYO blackberries are $18 per gallon and PYO hours are 8:00 to 12:00 Tuesday through Saturday. PYO activities are not available on Sundays or Mondays. Picking buckets and containers to take the berries home are available at the orchard.
If anyone has extra gallon buckets they don't need, drop them off at the orchard as I can use them.
My blueberries were hurt by the late freeze we had in March/April but I think we may have some available for PYO around the Fourth of July. Follow up posts will announce the actual date when PYO blueberries are available.
Peaches and plums were froze so I will not have peaches or plums this year.

Hello to everyone from Buffalo Trail Orchard!! We are closed for the year since we are out of apples. Thank you to everyone who visited us this year and we wish everyone a happy holiday season!
We plan to open back up in Mid-June of 2026 for Pick Your Own berries so please check back then to see when berries will be available. God Bless.

Hello to everyone from Buffalo Trail Orchard!! Thank you to everyone you purchased apples and pumpkins from Buffalo Trail Orchard this year!! We only have a few pre-picked apples (Gala and Enterprise) left for sale in the apple barn. Apple butter and seedless blackberry jam are also available in the apple barn.
If anyone needs a pumpkin/squash to make those Thanksgiving pies I have 10 - 12 candy roaster squash for sale in the apple barn.
The farm store is self-serve, so please bring small bills or a personal check for payment as change will not be available.. The self-serve payment box is located inside the Apple Barn to the left of the exit door.

Hello to everyone from Buffalo Trail Orchard!! All of our apples are picked so we will not have any more Pick Your Own (PYO) apples in 2025. Thank you to everyone who came out and picked apples this year. We will continue to have pre-picked apples for sell in the apple barn for the next couple of months. Gala, Evercrisp, Ludicrisp, MUTSU, Pink Lady, and Goldrush apples are now available in the farm store. Gala, MUTSU, Goldrush apples are $7.00 for a 1/2 peck bag (approx. 5 lbs.} and Evercrisp, and Ludicrisp apples are $7.00 for a 1/4 peck bag (approx. 3.5 lbs.).
A good selection of Jack-o-lantern pumpkins are still available in front of the barn and a PYO pumpkin patch is available in the field behind the barn.
Fresh made apple butter and other home made jams and jellies are also available in the farm store. The farm store is self-serve, so please bring small bills or a personal check for payment as change will not be available.. The self-serve payment box is located inside the Apple Barn to the left of the exit door.

For the week of October 6th - 12th Pick Your Own (PYO) apples will be available on Saturday October 11th and Sunday October 12th from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Pink Lady and Goldrush apples will be available for PYO. PYO apple prices are $8 for a 1/2 peck and $16 for a peck. Credit cards will be accepted during PYO activities and snacks and cold drinks will be available.
Pre-picked Gala, Braeburn, Evercrisp, MUTSU, and Yellow Delicious apples are now available in the farm store. Gala, Braeburn, MUTSU, and Yellow Delicious apples are $7.00 for a 1/2 peck bag (approx. 5 lbs.} and Evercrisp apples are $7.00 for a 1/4 peck bag (approx. 3.5 lbs.).
Pumpkins are also now available in front of the barn and a PYO pumpkin patch will be available in the field behind the barn.
