In the midst of all our lovely chaos, we decided it was time to add another Boxer to the family. 🐾

If you remember, two years ago we lost our sweet Kimber, and our hearts truly have never been the same. A year after her passing—and losing our Heeler Lexi, too—we got our little girl a mini Golden Doodle.

Simba completely stole our hearts and became the star of the show- a wild one 💕. But we couldn't help but ask... what’s one more special pup added to the mix? 💙

It feels so right having a Boxer back around—the house finally feels complete. Simba is absolutely in love with having a pal to keep her occupied, and Shilo is just the sweetest baby.
We miss Kimber and our Lexi so much every single day, and we wish they were still here with us. But there is so much comfort in knowing we can give these two pups the kind of beautiful life every dog deserves.

Stealing my Fall decor like it ain’t Fall yet 🙄

The air has finally lost its summer weight, replaced by a sharp, clean breeze that makes you want to pull a blanket just a little bit closer.
Everything about the morning feels like a slow exhale. The crickets are singing their slower, cooler autumn song, while a flock of crows breaks the quiet, hollering from the tops of the fading tree line.
The squirrels preparing for Winter, burying all they can while they can.
The little hummingbirds are drinking up, before their migration.
Across the yard, the animals move with an easy, unhurried rhythm, grazing through the low morning mist. Every few minutes, a gentle gust stirs the branches, sending a gold and amber shower of leaves drifting lazily to the grass. Sitting here with a warm mug in hand, the world feels completely still—just the perfect, uncomplicated transition into the best time of the year.

This is back porch sitting just right. 🙌🍂

Who else is a porch sitter? 😊 perhaps my favorite place to be this time of year!

Finally started on a little project I’ve been putting off forever!

Hubby is out weedeating the fence rows, and not long after I started, I hear a sleepy "good morning, mommy" from the back door. There she was—eyes barely open, bed hair in full glory, clutching her little stuffy and her cup of milky, coming straight out just to help her mama. No tablets, no screens, just pure joy being right here alongside us. 🩷

Add in our wild doodle who loves nothing more than a ride on the Ranger, and my heart is completely full. 🐾🐶

Living out here in our secluded little spot means running outside in your jams and staying in them all day long if you want to. It’s simple, it’s quiet, and it’s completely ours. ✨🌾

Good morning to all! ☀️

It’s been a couple silent moments since we’ve been present on our page!

A total hysterectomy behind me, 4 back procedures in the books, lupus medication adjusted, I might be on the mend of feeling like a normal human being. 🤪
Sometimes health gets in the way of a lot of things, when you put it on the back burner for so long it gets to the point where you have nothing left to do but take care of yourself. That’s finally what I did. 🙌

Animals are fine and dandy, loving this cooler weather that’s for sure!

✨ Those that are inquiring about our soaps, tallows, mag sprays, tallow lip balms, candles, dry shampoos, insect sprays, every thing we make 2026 we plan to get back on our feet attending vendors, and stocking our shelves back. We’re in the process of buying back materials and supplies to get started back this Winter to have a head start for Spring.

Last few months since early September, has been t-total chaos for our little family and the house fire that occurred it flipped our world upside down to say the least. Though we’re very thankful it wasn’t as worse as it could have been it still destroyed our routine of life.
We’ve had professional cleaners in our home, insurance folks to and fro, painters, drywall construction taking place and so much more- still happening as we speak.

We’re thankful for our customers that are like family to us, the continued messages for those still wanting our items. 🩵

While we have nothing stocked here at home, you can find most of everything we make at The Funny Farm, I’ve sent many messages sending folks their way that’s wanted an item we create.

So, if you’re needing tallow, etc. please reach out to Tammy, she can have it bagged and ready for you to pickup at their farm store!

Most of all, thank you for understanding and your patience as we’ve navigated through this time.
