Sometimes it’s just too pretty not to share.
Just drove through water on the road on my way back home and checked on our animals as I came in. These new babies were booking it and they’re so cute, but I’m just so thankful right now we have lots of high ground our animals can get to. They were not far from where I had seen water on the road. Praying for and thinking of our farmer friends right now dealing with livestock and these flood waters. Hugs!

You know what the shortage is now? Breads and frozen/refrigerated doughs. Have you seen them lately? I’ve not seen many.
You know what we’re not worried about … once again. Bread shortages. You know why? Because we know an invaluable skill.
This is my sourdough starter minutes after feeding it. Sometimes I nearly kill it and then I just feed it and make it happy again. You know what? It doesn’t even have to be sourdough. Weekly Sandy makes the most incredible ciabatta bread you ever did taste.
