As we wrap up National Farm Safety Week, I know it can be frustrating to get behind a tractor or a piece of machinery while you’re headed out.

But I ask you to please be understanding. Farmers often have farms stretched all over the county and even in other states. As harvest season begins, equipment will have to be moved locations several times.

A few tips:
•If you think about passing on the left side, make sure there is not a road or a driveway ahead that the farmer might be turning left into. If you see a farmer driving down the middle of the road so you can’t pass, this is probably why. He’s keeping you and himself safe.

•If you see a vehicle with its caution lights on or flashing lights, there is a good chance that a combine or a large piece of machinery is following. Please stop or pull over to the shoulder. I promise they will be by in a few seconds and you can be on your way.

•If you can’t see around the equipment, please do not pass. Some of our machinery is very big and hard to see around to oncoming traffic.

We love our farmers. They are our family. Often times my kids are in those tractors with them.

Please be patient and please be kind during this Harvest season. 🌾

In typical, Circle of Life fashion, the Cat Math is mathing and the Grandmother cat is more chill with the grandkittens than she was with her daughter.

Summer is here. Does your child like horses? Let them visit the beautiful facility of Meadowcrest Stables where we will offer two days in July with some hands on experience with our horses and learn about horsemanship.

It’s sure to be a FUN time and activities planned. We can only allow 4 kids at a time in a session due to local regulations.

Our horses are waiting to have some fun in the sun. ❤️🐎
