We do not have open hours. This is a private farm but we give farm tours by appointment to support our non-profit We are a family with two very specially-abled young adults, our son is a hard-working, Christian, outdoorsman, and full-time optometrist. Our daughter was born with aphasia, which has always given her intellectual challenges. She is a beautiful socially-adjusted and loving adult who is
continuing to learn to read, but it is her biggest challenge. She will never be able to drive (a really disabling situation in the US!). But, she is able to do so much more than her "diagnosis" would indicate (but that's just a "label" and I don't like labels!). We intend to develop a simple business that can use our daughter's abilities to help sustain her when we am gone. We plan to base this business on our love of heritage breeds of cattle like our Scottish Highlands along with a love of creating/fabrication of related products. A long-term vision is to grow the business into a non-profit that can add value to the life of many specially-abled young adults in our community. But we are just getting started! Post a message to us with your suggestions, comments! We would love to hear from you!
