“Truman” is a yearling bull purchase (Creed x Trudy) at Creekbend Herefords in New Palestine, IN. Getting ready to go to work!

And the nice little heifer calf is a Longest Yard out of a Lights Out x Sooner cow at Everhart Herefords in Waldron, IN.

We just wrapped a really special few days of pictures, film & story telling with the talented folks at Daigle Photography!

Our goal was to capture the history, heritage and future plans for Ramsey Herefords.

It was a fun and occasionally tear filled experience and we can’t wait to share it with you all ❤️

Herefords move fast for 3 reasons:

1- Food
2- Predators
3- Storms

I didn’t capture the first half of the herd, but once the black clouds and thunder started rolling in last night, they hauled it up to the corral to find shelter!

Well needed moisture here, but thinking of all our friends in OK battling a nasty tornado season right now. 🙏🏼

We loaded up 4 gals and headed to the fairgrounds for a regional judging contest today!!

Fun was had (mostly) and CiCi was very happy with how many people came to look at her.

The contest was really high quality and well run! Hopefully the kids enjoyed it and got a lot of value from the experience ❤️

Someone said it’s the 1st day of Spring 💐

We’ve been quiet on socials, but busy on the farm!

The end of calving season is in site…. almost! We are batting 100% for heifers on the ground, so make sure we’re on your Summer / Fall stop list 🙌🏻

Mother Nature has provided quite the roller coaster🎢 of temps these last few weeks, but the cows seem MUCH less bothered than the humans 🫠
