Peek-a-boo, I see you! This little girl was born Saturday evening and is very good at hiding!

The Little Farmer tried something new at the fair this year and showed a feeder calf! We had zero cattle showing experience, but we had a good time and learned a lot! 🐮

Now, his feeder heifer is looking for a new place to call home. She was born in a snowstorm in January and to make sure she survived, she became a bottle calf. She has never lived with the rest of the cows and it took a little coaxing to get her in the barn at the fair when she saw all of them up close (she has seen our cows but not that close). She is a Hereford/Angus cross, broke to lead and very sweet.
She weighed a little over 300 lbs at the fair.

Come checkout Christmas at the Fair at the Hancock County Fairgrounds from 1 to 6 today! Carriage rides, reindeer, highland cows, vendor booths, food trucks, and kids activities! The Little Farmer can help you prepare some feed for Santa's Reindeer!

If you have goats or have ever been around a buck goat during breeding season, then you know what the barn smells like right now. But, cute baby goats next spring! Just don't touch the buck right now!!! 🤢

Saturday morning saw something a little different on the farm. The corn head was experiencing some issues and a tech came out to work on it. But, instead of driving a few hours to his calls, he flies and lands in fields! 🛩️

Facebook won't let us post pictures and videos with this post, so we'll add some videos to the comments. Unfortunately, the camera work on the landing isn't the greatest as the Little Farmer wasn't happy with his view so there is a lot of movement :( . Sorry! The takeoff video is better though!

Tonight's field meal turned into a back of the truck meal during a repair stop at the shop. 🛠️
