Located in picturesque Monterey County, California, our twelve estate vineyards are located along a 70-mile spread of the Salinas Valley, encompassing four primary climate zones. The unique geography of Monterey County and the diversity of our estate vineyards allow us to grow many different varieties in a spectrum of styles. Each of ou

r 36 varietals is planted in the location or locations that is best-suited to expressing the highest quality for that grape. We offer two great locations to enjoy and learn more about Scheid Vineyards:

Carmel-by-the-Sea Tasting Room
Located one block from Ocean Avenue at San Carlos & 7th in historic Carmel-by-the-Sea, our Tasting Room is a warm and inviting haven to taste an array of Scheid Vineyards wines. Discover our wines, vineyards, and the wonderful diversity of the Monterey growing region while enjoying our estate grown wines. Open Daily at 11:00 am

Winery Tasting Room
Located just off Highway 101 between Greenfield and King City, our “home” location is set among the vineyards, just an hour's scenic drive from the Monterey Peninsula and easy to find thanks to our 400ft wind turbine that powers the entire property, and an additional 125 homes in the community. Guests can enjoy our abundance of shaded and spacious outdoor patios while enjoying lawn games and more!

Thanks to the generosity of this community, BCAG distributed over $350,000 in financial assistance to 88 local women undergoing breast cancer treatment in 2025; along with vital nutritional support across Monterey County.
We are honored to have played a small part in helping such an impactful organization and proud to support a cause that directly uplifts women and families in our community.
