Current homestead infatuation - dying our very own Romney wool with as many plants and natural dyes we can find before winter. So far we have used goldenrod, pokeweed berries, and coffee but next up is indigo.

Thanks to everyone who came to the farm today to help crank out 130 pounds of Wing Road wildflower honey. And thanks to Morgana Fall for the loaner extractor- she is a wondrous beast! We will be bottling and selling in a couple weeks once we filter and organize jars. If anyone wants to return and refill that would be cool as jars are expensive! 🐝

Littlest beekeeper helps us requeen a hive. 4 hives this year and harvesting 4 full supers this Sunday if anyone wants to help. Our wildflower honey is such a nice mix of Saratoga flora!
