It’s been one of those springs… watching the radar and planting whenever we get a break. Last week we finally got onions in the ground. Slow progress is still progress.

Who else is farming or gardening between storms this year? 🌱

It’s Spring which means we’re watching the weather and planting in between the storms.

We’ve planted: potatoes, peas, carrots, beets, lettuce, broccoli, cabbage—with more coming next week.

It’s muddy, it’s messy, and it’s very not Pinterest pretty…

but we planted anyway. 🌱

This might be our first real peach year 🍑

One tree has blossoms…
The other one? Not so much.

Same care. Same area. Totally different attitudes.

If these blossoms hold, we might actually get peaches this summer. 🙏🏻

My kind of therapy 🤍
Peas are in, trellis is up, and we beat the rain just in time 🌱🌧️

Are you planting yet where you are?

Quick hive check last week 🐝

Temps are warming up, which gets the bees moving—but there’s still not much forage available yet. That means they can burn through their stores fast this time of year.

We checked the sugar board and they still had plenty, so we tucked it back in and will check again next week. Just helping them bridge the gap until spring really shows up 🌱

He’s not just staring into the distance… he’s planning the whole summer. 🌿✨ Spring is here and our pup is READY.
