Been off for a while. Been having some bad hatches due to the heat and humidity, and I'm not the onkly one. Hatching is starting today and it looks like I'll start having some good hatches as the weather has started cooling off. Set some Muscovy duck eggs and they should hatch next week, need some females for fly control in the coops. Finally been able to bush hog, the lake is going down and the ground is drying out. As you can see in the pictures the weeds are out of control. Started yesterday and got the John Deere stuck and had to get my neighbor with his gig tractor to help get me out. Will finally be able to get to the downed pines and have some big bon fires this winter. Enjoy the pictures.

Sorry I've been off for a while, but just got back from the hospital, heart problems due to Agent Orange. Hatching baby chick right now and will be posting some pictures soon.

Spring has srung here. Baby chicks are hatching like popcorn. Fruit trees are blooming and setting fruit, grape vines are leafing out and setting pods and it's mullberry picking time. Killed my first rattlesnake, got to it before the cats.

Been hatching chicks. Joyce finally took a pair her speciual project chickens (Gold Barred Plymouth Rocks) to the exotic animal auction in Madison. Had a bidding war for them, ended up at $100.00 a piece. Hatching Sumatras, Blue Barnvelders, Wheaton Penedesencas, Gold Barred Plymouth Rocks, Seramas, and Bantam and Standard Modern Game.
