Animal Tracks is back!

It's been two long years since we sold out of the last vintage. The 2024 Animal Tracks is a blend of heirloom and tannic apple varieties fermented in stainless steel and aged in bourbon barrels for 5 months. If you like spirits this cider is definitely for you. Round and smooth, balanced oak, and bourbon finish. Dry (as always) but a little sweetness on the back end from the barrel influence. A perfect cider for the cooler days ahead.

Come try it by the flight, glass, or bottle.

Open 12-6 today celebrating Dolly with her music playing. We think she'd like Animal Tracks, too.

First apples of the season!

Dolgo crab are little (like most crabapples) and have an incredibly sweet and acidic bite. They are fantastic for cider.

Geneva crab are larger (way easier to pick), a little bitter, and red-fleshed. We use them to make Great Bay Rosé.

Thrilled to have our best crop yet. When you come visit feel free to walk the orchard and see how we do things. Most people have not seen trellised apple trees. If you have questions, just ask!

We have an amazing weekend lineup!

Music includes Yolanda Becker Friday, a Uke Jam in the pavilion on Saturday, and then local band Folk & Fiddle and David Corson on Sunday.

Join for tons of fun on Sunday with the SEASON OPENING of the Curated by Shannon Shipman Dahlia field here at Bird Dog. And we've collaborated with Greenland Historical Society for an afternoon of fun including trolley tours of Greenland farms and taverns (sign up required) and a revolutionary era reenactment to celebrate our nation's 250th.
