I'm Liss' and I've been a personal shopper for 9 years at Harris Teeter, 12 years with the company and a few years with INSTACART. When you download the app, You pick a shopper in your area by Zip code, and if you like them, their yours to keeps. That's right, we're playing "favorites" & you can too. That's extremely refreshing, because just how YOU want the same shopper, we want the same customer. Shopping gets easier with EVERY order shopped, I start to learn your likes and dislikes, and I can remind you of things you may have forgotten. But most importantly, we build a friendship.
That's not the only thing that makes us different, did you know we can shop ANYWHERE you shop, as well as multiple stores too? Say you order from Publix, and Publix doesn't have the item you want, We can go to Harris Teeter, and add that item so that you are only charged once. How cool is that? We can shop anywhere VISA/Credit is accepted, even if the store is not on your shoppers platform. All you have to do is ask,chances are, they will make it work for you.
Now, I'm about to shine some truth on other platforms that are not like us. With Dumplings, you pay IN-STORE prices--ALWAYS, and you get the paper & online receipt. You should NEVER have to pay more for an item than what the store sells it for, & you shouldn't have to pay so many service & delivery fees on top of what you are already paying. With Dumplings, it is between YOU & YOUR shopper. Most of the shoppers pay the platform fee so that YOU don't have to. What you pay for is simple: Your groceries + Your shopper fee + Gratuity and that's it.
