Please allow us to take a moment to introduce to you our Owner, Chandler.
🪖 He's a retired SFC (Sergeant First Class) who served 20 years on active duty in the US Army. During his time in the military, Chandler worked as Commo (radio operations), a Gold Badge Recruiter in Miami, FL (where the greatest recruitment contract he bagged for lifetime service was his wife, Cathi), CGS (common ground station) Intelligence Analyst, Geospacial Intelligence Imagery Analyst, and then finished out his career as an Intel Instructor and an International Liaison for the MI Community connecting the Military Intelligence College of Australia (to include briefings with the Australian Prime Minister's Cabinet) with Intel Education Operations in America. (He's certainly quite the smarty pants 🤓)
🌍 Chandler served 3 overseas warzone tours to Kuwait (2001-2002), Iraq (2006-2008), and Afghanistan (2012-2013). He earned many prestigious military awards during his time in service, most notably the Bronze Star for bravery in the face of the enemy (The writeup on that award is a wild one, and the title alone simply doesn't do it justice).
🛍 These days, Chandler has been retired since 2020, and he is a fearless owner of his family's small business here in Lake Oconee. He serves (mostly) behind-the-scenes as our 24/7 on-call IT support, fixer and maintainer of the espresso machine, paperwork handler, license obtainer, red tape examiner, problem solver, and sideline cheerleader!
☕️ Chandler likes his coffee served Hot (but not too hot) as a latte with coconut milk, cinnamon, and Coffee Blossom Honey. You may not see him often in the store, since most of his work is done from his office at home, but if you do have the opportunity to see him out and about town, just know that you are looking at the face of a true American Hero and Military Intelligence Legend!
