Thanks for being a supporter of Daily Bread. When my family started the business, our goal was to have a small home business that would fit with our family life. Daily Bread has grown quickly because of the support of our fantastic friends & new sourdough bread fans. Because of the surprising success of DB, I have realized that the company is taking more time from my family than I originally hoped. To make Daily Bread successful, it would require more time, personnel & capital than I can devote at this stage in life. I wanted to share that with the New Year, I will be refocusing on my family. I appreciate all the new friends I have made through the company, but the production of our Sourdough bread will stop for now. Thanks again for all your support and friendship. I wish you all the best for 2013!

With the tragic events in Connecticut and losing a personal friend to cancer today, it's my faith & the little things in life that bring me joy. A dear sweet customer brought me a beautiful ornament as a Christmas gift today. I believe there are still good people in the world, even when life gets crazy!

I am feeling the love tonight and counting lots of great orders for next week. Unfortunately, I must tell you that if you haven't placed your order already, I'm not accepting any more orders next week. Sourdough is made from a starter and my starters (all 19 of them) are maxed out on my planning sheet. I want to make sure to give the best service and quality product possible. I am giddy. Just got a new humongous (that's the official term) electrical outlet added today for my second oven. I've got a shiny new second oven with 3x the baking capacity. Woo hoo!
