Good Morning Annapolis
It's a little dreary out today but not cold and not hot and not constant rain. It's honestly a good day to cook and fill the house with amazing smells like chicken broth 😉.
Drew is fully loaded and heading over the bridge to Anne Arundel County Farmers' Market, Inc. this morning. We had a good processing this week so ALL the parts are in stock BUT they go quick so come early for the best selection: Skinless Boneless Breasts, Tenderloins, Wings, Leg Quarters and the Super Versatile Soup Backs. A good supply of Whole birds are just waiting for you to take home and roast for the family. (Another amazing aroma)
We are trying to be patient with our young pullets and give them daily lectures about starting to lay and the sooner they pay for their keep the better 🤣. I'm guessing laying will begin at some point this month .
For those ready to start thinking about Thanksgiving, we should have a pretty good head count of Bourbon Red (Heritage turkeys) this week and hope to open Reservations very soon.
