Had a good opening day at NH sheep and wool festival. Our newest product Emma's maple fudge was a hit. (Made by Emma Conway). Had one customer tell me there is no need for her to go to college she needs to just make her fudge. It's amazing. Stop by and see us today and grab some while supplies last. Thank you to all the customers yesterday.

Finished pulling spouts yesterday. Liz helped she thought they were tapped a little high. Shows how deep the snow was.

Calling it a season. Had a good year ended up with 795 gallons or 5.6lbs a tap. Just under last year and 5 gallons short of my goal. I want to thank the "boys" Kevin, Chase and Anthony for there help this year. And Dave who helped in woods tapping for a day. They couldn't be around all the time but we're always there if really needed! Couldn't do it without them. Also dad for stopping in at sugarhouse to make sure I was still alive and didn't need anything on the long days alone. Not easy doing it alone and the help is always much appreciated!!! Looking at an expansion and some new equipment for next season. Also a huge thank you to all the customers who buy our syrup every year!! Last but not least the biggest thank you goes to Liz and Sara Kerr (and KJ my grandson the supervisor of the sugarhouse)for all the behind the scenes things they do for me, from bringing food, marketing, running for supplies or just putting up with us guys gone alot!! Now on to clean up and prep for next season!
