Instagram vs reality 🤣

Our social media manager (that's me ✌️) was at the beach this weekend for a much needed vacation and this was the only content that came back 🧐

Not everyone gets a behind the scenes look at what goes into making videos and editing photos and writing captions (shout-out to Max Hathaway for being such a great sounding board). Sometimes you get it on the first try, and sometimes you almost lose your phone --and your product-- to the high tide.

This week the NC House delayed a vote on HB 328 until later this year.

We're not in the clear yet though, and we need y'all to keep showing up and making your voices heard.

For now, our efforts should focus on contacting Senator Ted Budd to tell him this:

We ask that you stop holding up the passage of a Continuing Resolution that will extend the ban and allow for more time to organize and pass SENSIBLE REGULATION, NOT PROHIBITION. And when that regulation is presented, we will need Senator Budd’s support for that as well.

We’re asking for your help in voting NO to HB328.

This is a ban bill disguised as regulation. It would effectively shut down our small locally owned business overnight.

North Carolina’s h**p industry is a $3.2 billion industry that provides over sixteen thousand jobs. This bill would put farmers, families and other small businesses at risk. There will be many unintended consequences of this bill – a large part of that being a huge hit to the hospitality industry. Bars, restaurants, grocery stores, wine and bottle shops, and local breweries will all be negatively impacted by this bill.

We understand and support sensible regulation. HB 328 is prohibition, which will only leave space for illegal businesses and products to thrive. Our products have helped countless people find a safe alternative to alcohol and other substances, which can help to break the addictive cycle for many here in our community.

We already comply with a minimum age of 21 for purchase. Our business, as well as many others that understand regulation is key, follow strict protocols for testing and labeling to ensure safety, consistency, and authenticity.

If you or someone you know finds benefits in or enjoys h**p or h**p derived THC products, please take five minutes out of your day to get in touch with your NC House representative and tell them to VOTE NO on HB 328.
