Responsibilities include running highly technical based planting equipment in the spring planting beans and corn.
Must be able to work independently and finish tasks on their own without supervision. Must have knowledge of farming equipment and practices. including but not limited to planting, tillage, mowing, spraying, manure handling and some spraying. Hog Nursery and Finishing Team Member

Seeking a dependable, full time employee to work with nursery and market hogs. Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record. The main office is located in Decatur County, but employee will be using a company vehicle to travel from the office to different locations to check on the hogs, vaccinate and load the hogs going to market. Position may require heavy lifting at times. Employee must pass a drug test. Pay based on experience.

Seeking an agricultural mechanic where the focus will be working on large equipment from four-wheel drive tractors to large excavating equipment to routine maintenance on our semi-truck and trailer fleet. Must be knowledgeable in diesel semis and pickups. Mechanic will also work equipment that helps to efficiently perform activities on a farm such as but not limited to general cleaning, mowing, tilling soil, planting, harvesting of crops and operating large articulating equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform minor and major repairs on trucks, trailers, farming and excavating equipment.
Maintain cleanliness in the shop, trucks, and equipment.
Must be able to perform any farm tasks delegated to them.
Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.
Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and equipment and report any problems or damage to management.
Comply with all DOT, traffic laws and in-house regulations and rules.
Ensure safety of all employees and equipment in shop and on job sites.
Apply and work with Anhydrous Ammonia and always maintain safety.
Work long hours in spring and fall and report any problems to management.
Must be able to operator large scale farm equipment safely.
Skills Required:

Must be able to operate all types of farm and heavy equipment.
Must be knowledgeable with computers and excel
Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
Able to work overtime.
