Hey Triple B supporters, Mike here. I pretty much despise all things social media. However, today I was moved to post onto the farm page. I dedicate my Memorial Day to PFC Howard B Janssen. If you look at the marker, Howard was part of the Third U.S. Army also known as “Patton’s Own”. Based￼ upon the date of death, I would make the assertion that Mr. Janssen was killed in the historic “Battle of the Bulge in WW II”. Today is for you Howard, and American’s across the country owe you a debt of gratitude. I don’t know your story and can only imagine how it played out. I can only speculate that Howard wanted all Americans to live their best life. In an era where kneeling for the Star Spangled Banner is popularized and considered “activism”, Americans like Howard paid the ultimate sacrifice so those unhappy with our country can take a knee. Today and everyday, I proudly stand for you Howard because these colors don’t run. What I would tell the “so called” activists out there, talk is extremely cheap. If you don’t like the state of affairs in this country, run for a political office. If you’re unhappy with the policing of this country, try out for a local law enforcement agency and go through the academy. If you fancy yourself a purveyor of Freedom, join the military. If you’re unable to do any of the above, please support a worthy cause, PFC Howard B Janssen would have wanted you to. Again, words may matter but talk is cheap. Be a part of the solution rather than an addition to the problem. I’ll end this post with an amazing quote from former president Ronald Reagan who once said “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn't pass it to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it was once like in the United States where men were free.” God Bless you Howard B Janssen and may God always Bless these United (not divided) States of America!
