Just caught my first swarm this year! It was amazing! P told me something was happening, and I went outside and there were bees everywhere!!!! I stood in the middle of the swarm and felt all of the bees hovering around me. It was beautiful! I also found the queen and helped her into the entrance.

Last night I went to pick up the bees that everyone has so graciously help me raise money to try and save. The bees were definitely not happy with me and I ended up getting stung like 20 times in the neck and like 10 times in the legs and hands. They found all of the tiniest holes in my suit and poured in like lava. I called it quits after working on the second hive. Thankfully, I’m not allergic, and I was really close to a friends house who took me in and gave me a drink. Thanks Erin!

Welcome to my new page! Today’s same catch was a blast! 2 small colonies. 1 at about 10 ft. The other was at about 20 feet roughly. Both swarms were small and beautiful!
