“For this event, the starting point was really the landscape surrounding the space, as well as the tabletop items and linens. The tables were set against this soft, open backdrop, and we wanted everything on the table to feel like a continuation of that, rather than
something placed on top of it.
Nasturtiums felt like the natural choice because they already grow in that loose, wandering way. There’s a softness to the stems and a slight irregularity in their movement, which helped avoid anything feeling too arranged.”
