noba bread is more than a small business my husband and I started 4 years ago. It's deeply personal.
noba bread uses the same starter my mom has cared for and made bread from since 1986.
No one could recount how many loaves and rolls she's made for family, friends, church events, neighbors and community events over the years. And she continues to do so. My mom shows love by serving others. For mom, her bread making is an act of love. I hope I can use bread making to show that same kind of love to others.
My husband and I have been working in Bible Translation for 18 years. It's been a really neat journey and a privilege to be a part of this work. I wish I had time to tell you all the stories!
Did you know there are 7,394 spoken languages in the world? Of those, there are only 807 with a complete Bible translated into their language.
By the grace of God we facilitate 2 translation programs. Ever since we started noba bread, we have been able to give $20,711.50 for the operation of the translation projects. From the depth of my soul, thank you Eastern North Carolina! This work is our heart and soul.
Thank you for welcoming us back home 4 years ago! Thank you for your partnership and your love for noba bread.
"The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26
