All the cool kids hang out by the big green tractor! 🐐🚜

The Panther PTA 310 is one of the many tractors we operate here on the ranch. This 310 horsepower tractor is mainly used for roller chopping pastures, pulling no-till planters, and getting other equipment unstuck from the mud. The tires also make a pretty good resting spot for little goats who want to take an afternoon nap. 😴🐐

The cattle are always on the move! 🐮🌱

Rotational grazing is the process of moving livestock between different sections of pasture, giving the land time to rest and recover. This practice has many benefits, including improving soil structure, supporting carbon sequestration, increasing forage availability for livestock, and better distributing nutrients from manure throughout the pasture.

We have utilized rotational grazing since the start of our ranch, and it is just one of the regenerative practices we use at Deep Roots Meat.

On our farm tour, you get the gorgeous view of the Old Spanish Trail. This trail goes from St. Augustine all the way to California. The tree canopy is home for many members of the ecosystem including squirrels, birds, bugs, and any other wildlife!
