FARM TOUR THIS WEEKEND!

Though the weather is looking questionable, our family is geared up and ready to go for the Spring Harvest Tour! Our hours will be 9-5 on Saturday, and 12-4 on Sunday. A farm never stops, no matter if it’s raining or not. So, bring your boots (maybe your rainboots), and come out to experience farm life at its truest!

ALSO OPEN JUNE 1-2:
If you would rather visit on a dry day, we are also opening the weekend of June 1st and 2nd for those who miss the tour this weekend.
 Further information will be given as this date approaches.

Glendower Farms will be participating in the Annual Farm Tour again this weekend. Last year, nearly 1,000 visitors made us one on their Farm Tour stops. Many of them told us they came for the pork deals as much as for the walking tour. We'll have a lot of those good deals on our artisan Iberico pork products again this year and a pleasant walking tour of our outdoor pig operation.

Because we're reducing our herd size, we'll even have live pigs for sale to anyone who wants a homestead pig and has a place to put it. So, come see us!

If you're looking for a great weekend outdoor experience, put us on your calendar. We're open 9-5 on both Saturday and Sunday.

We’ll be back at the Alachua County Farmers Market in Gainesville tomorrow with plenty of good Iberico pork products... including our new THICK CHOPS!

Y’all have been asking for a thicker iberico chop, and (since we happen to know a guy in the chop-cutting biz), we made it happen. They’re 1.5” thick and delicious. We’ll be packin brined and unbrined options for the market tomorrow. SEE YOU THERE!

that at Glendower Farms, we don’t just have Iberian Pigs … we also have some pretty awesome Red Wattles! Known best for their vibrant color and distinctive wattles, this breed originates from the Unites States and has a mild temperament and gentle nature. Its a good thing they’re nice guys, because (unlike the smaller Iberico Pig) a large Red Wattle can reach 1,200 pounds in weight, 4 feet in height and 8 feet in length!

If you think the ultimate beef cut is a prime rib ... have we got a treat for you! Our Iberico Prime Rib is a center cut, bone-in roast from the loin section of the hog. Think of it as baby back ribs with loin still attached. Mmmmmm.
