It's that time of year again! With temperatures dropping we wanted to provide a few tips to help avoid freezing samples along with some general information about our sample acceptance policy.

Most samples we receive fall into three categories which determines the sample requirements. These categories are NR812 compliance samples (pump work, new wells, real estate), NR809 compliance samples (public water samples or facilities that serve over 25 people), and non-compliance samples (any sample that doesn't fit into NR812 or NR809). We first determine which type of sample we received and then determine whether we can accept it for analysis. This information can be found on our website (https://www.tgalabs.com/sampleAcceptance.php) for future reference.

Tips for shipping and sending samples:
Samples we receive are considered frozen if any amount of ice is present in the sample or the temperature of the sample is

The Diamond H2O story goes back to 1932, when Charles Eichinger, an accomplished chemist, and his son Ray, a respected engineer, started Oshkosh Filter and Softener. They designed and manufactured some of the first lines of manually operated water softeners, deionizers and dealkalizers along with a full line of water filters and water heaters. These products were marketed under the Diamond and Emerald trade marks.

In 1949, The Harold Griesbach family became independent dealers of Diamond commercial water softeners and built their own plant in Greenville, WI. In 1999, Thomas, the youngest of the Griesbach family, purchased Diamond Water Conditioning and has built the company you know today - Diamond H2O.
