There’s no doubt about it—the real heroes of our farm are the mommas. ❤️🐄

For the first 6–8 months of their lives, these cows do an incredible job raising their calves. They protect them, teach them, and make sure they have everything they need to grow.

When it’s time to wean, our calves spend about a week in the weaning pen, where we ease them onto feed and keep a close eye on them. After that, they move to smaller pastures to continue growing until they’re ready for the finishing stage.

During the final 90–120 days, they’re finished on a free-choice feed ration to develop the quality and flavor that makes our beef something we’re proud to put on our own family’s table—and yours.
