It may not be under the CSBC name but this week is the Great American Beer Festival in Denver and I have submitted 4 beers into different categories. Let's hope I can add a GABF award to my résumé... see you guys there!

Although CSBC is still on hold, I have not let up in my pursuit. This week marks the first week filling 5 15 bbl tanks of my own beers. It's exciting and nerve racking in the same sense. I always try to judge my beers from a 3rd person perspective and remove bias which means there is always room for improvement. That said, I'm fairly pleased with the first batches to my name with high hopes that they'll continually improve. All of this work and sacrifice will, no doubt, prepare me for the day that CSBC becomes a reality. In the meantime, come try some of my beer(s) in ND. Cheers!

Officially 1 week away from moving to Watford City, ND! It still hasn't fully hit me yet but maybe as I actually start packing it will sink in. Cheers everyone to one last week in town for a little while!

Some of you may know but for those that don't- I recently visited Watford City, North Dakota for an interview. The position in question would be Brewmaster at a brand new brewery and restaurant in the area. I should be hearing back in the next couple days whether or not I have the position. The opportunity at hand is something very flattering and unexpected that could provide me with the nitty gritty details of opening a brewery without the risk of opening one myself. Cheers to (hopefully) the next adventure ahead!

I know it's been a while since anything has been posted but there is some legitimate movement for the company! My partner and I have been on the hunt for the right building in Greenville, SC. We took a "beer-cation" a few months ago and considered moving out west but decided to stay home. We may have found the perfect spot but now need to get a contractor in there to walk through and let us know what renovation costs might be. We have been looking in and around the downtown area. All I can say right now is that we just might be near North Main. Things might start moving quickly now so keep checking for updates as things progress. Cheers!

Harvesting the dregs from some highly renowned beers straight from Belgium to be blended and used for some funky brews ahead.

Newest recipes/test batches are a Coffee IPA (citrusy and balanced without being too bitter and dry hopped with Mosaic hops and aged on coffee beans) as well as a Sour IPA (soured to taste before and transferred back into the kettle for the various hop additions. Fruity notes with a bit of tartness without being too puckering and a big hop aroma).

Also, locations have and are being scouted. There is no city we are not considering. The southeast has been the main focus but the west coast and New England areas not ruled out.

There's a massive task ahead but the ball is rolling. It hasn't picked up much speed yet but we are on our way folks!
