Today’s sourdough cakesickles are extra special. 💗

Made with Dolly Parton’s famous banana cake mix, these sweet little treats felt like the perfect way to honor a woman who spent her life bringing joy, kindness, music, and a little bit of sparkle to the world.

Dolly was truly one of a kind. From her incredible music to her generosity and the way she always encouraged people to dream a little bigger, her legacy will continue to touch generations to come. 🌸✨

🚨 PSA: PLEASE STOP PLACING ORDERS TO OUR HOUSE FOR CASH PAYMENT AT DROP-OFF. 🚨

Stop placing food orders for cash payment upon delivery to our home through DoorDash, Uber Eats, Domino’s, Pizza Hut, or any other delivery service.

What you may think is a funny way to “protest,” you’re actually wasting drivers’ time, gas, and money while taking advantage of local businesses. These drivers are spending their own fuel and valuable time driving to an order that was never legitimately intended to be received.

You are also putting local restaurants and small businesses in the position of preparing huge food orders, paying employees, using ingredients, and orders being sent out by numerous drivers with the purpose of it to be refused and not paid for.

This is not supporting delivery drivers. This is not standing up for local businesses. This is the exact opposite of what many of you having been parroting the past 4 days.

I’ve had mass amounts of messages and phone calls threatening not only myself but my family’s lives and our property so all notifications are down. We will remain open, if you have questions or any of my regulars want to chat I’ll be around today. I don’t want hate to win but we have children and will not put them at risk. Police are aware.

Hi everyone! We went viral yesterday.

My husband made a post in a local page that someone stopped at our porch bakery and did not pay for an item they took. My husband asked that they pay for what they took. This caused an uproar, to some.

The man’s wife messaged later and paid for the item and so the post was removed. She sent $5 and cake pops are only $4 so I returned $1. There was one other person that sent payment for the treat but I refunded it swiftly. I run on an honor system. I want it to stay that way and not rely on strangers to make up for someone else’s mistake.

THANK YOU for those in the community that supported us and stood up for us. I have received so many messages from kind returning customers and new found customers because of this. When you look for the light, you’ll find it. Thank you to those who messaged being ours. 🔆

To be clear- On top of our cooler there is a menu with prices for treats and pay options. Our dye-free options are not free items. We have QR codes to scan for cashapp/venmo and a cash box on the front.

As for a cart update- We are sold out of cake pops but I did make more sourdough fudge brownies! I am working on sourdough brown butter chocolate chip cookies. I will update when those are out. We do sourdough breads on the weekend.
