I have a year and a half old Khaki Campbell drake for sale to a good home. Reason for sell is I have 2 drakes, and I do not need two. He is a proven breeder; I have two one-week-old ducklings from him. Asking $20. If interested send me a message. This is the Drake for sale. He has been raised on organic feed.

I just wanted to clear up something I have been told about chickens and hatching eggs. I have been told and heard it said that if you set chicken eggs pick the eggs that are more rounded, and they will be hens, and the more oblong eggs will be roosters, well I tried this last summer, the hen hatched seven chicks and now that they are I choose all rounded eggs. So, what I think I have proven here is that the shape of the egg has nothing to do with the s*x of the chick, I think 4 roosters proves that. So now would anyone want a rooster?

Hens enjoying their fresh cool water out in the chicken house yard. Second photo is the rooster "Chef Red Feather" and some of his hens out forging around the farm. Our chickens are free range.

This is the chickens roosting room, no one is ready to go to roost this time of day. The hens and the rooster love their three-room chicken house. Having separate rooms makes it easier to clean because the roosting room has to be cleaned more often that the nesting and dining rooms.

This is in the nesting room I have two hens setting, one has 8 chicken eggs under her and the other one has 5 duck eggs under her.

This is the nesting room where they lay their eggs, do not have all the nests installed yet, will add more soon. Second photo is nesting boxes, and they have a fan in that room to keep them cool in this hot weather.

Cleaned the chicken house, this is the dining room. The hen does not have a white crown it is just the sun shining on her through the window. These two hens decided to come in for an early evening meal.
