Grape Getaways During the drive out to wine country the tour guide describes the charactieristics
(e.g.

terroir, best wine varietals, history, etc) of the region to be visited. Also, a description of the destination wineries are summarized as and tips on wine tasting and wine appreciation (in a fun and friendly manner). Often, and time permitting, a movie about wine (think "Sideways") is shown during the ride out. Both beginners and accomplished wine tasters have enjoyed Grape Getaways' trips and all return with more knowledge about wine than when they embarked in the morning.

We had a great trip to the North Fork in August visiting Paumanok, Martha Clara and Pellegrini Vineyards. We had a full bus and the weather (and wine) was fabulous!
