Hand Melon Farm also operates a retail market selling baked goods, plants, produce and food related items. The Hand Melon Farm is celebrating 100 years of operation! We currently have pick your own strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, tomatoes and peppers when in season. We grow our own corn, tomatoes, peppers, yellow and green squash, eggplant, watermelons, cucumbers, green beans, pumpkins and

fall ornamentals and of course the most luscious melons on earth! Our retail operation is open from may until October and features our farm grown produce plus a wide variety of annuals, perennials, potted herbs and other fruits and vegetables. The farm stand also carries a variety of gift items, cheeses and other food related items. We snuck out of work early today to go cheer on some special young people from our local high school!

Watching Arri compete is really something. She is an absolute force to be reckoned with. The grit, determination, and heart…she really leaves it all out on that track.

And then there’s Levi. Equally impressive. Calm, confident, and steady as they come. He makes it look easy but we know that’s just how he is. He quietly gets the job done.

These are just two of the awesome young people we are blessed to have on our HMF team
