👀 Well, you don't see this every day! The World's Largest Amish Horse and Buggy just got a bath💦 and sealed!
This is Josh Justice kindly caring for our Horse and Buggy! We found some birds in the nose (and in some other parts, too!). And do you know what? We can't believe this is the first bath the horse and buggy has had in eight years! Eight years❗
Sometimes we get used to things, don't we? We see them every day, and after a while, we don't really see them anymore. Life gets busy. Time flies. And suddenly somebody says, “When was the last time we washed that horse?”
✨One thing we'll never overlook is your support for our mission here. And we don't want you to forget it either. When it's about groceries, and lower prices, and Cafe's and bakerys and produce and everything else, maybe the mission gets ignored a little.
We talk a lot about being a Market on a Mission and helping former Amish women build a new life. It's such a big part of who we are that maybe sometimes we get used to saying it, too.
But we never want to get used to what it actually means.
Real people are being helped. New lives are being built. And every time you shop here, you're part of making that happen. That's pretty amazing when you stop and think about it.
So maybe that's what a very dirty horse reminded us this week: Don't get so used to the important things that you forget just how important they are.
Thanks, Josh. The horse looks pretty good, too! 🥰
