🌟This week we put our last batch of chickens out to pasture where they will stay until they are ready to be processed in mid October.

🌾We put them on the same grass as the cows so they can fertilize the pastures and supplement their diet with grasses and bugs!

🐓We do this with both our broilers and our laying hens because we feel it is better for the land and for the animals!

🥚When you shop with us, whether it’s our eggs or our chicken and beef, you can be assured that your food was raised the proper way right in your local community!🍗

🐓 This week we started another batch of pasture raised chicken!

🐥 These little guys will stay in this brooder box for a few weeks until they get their adult feathers and can widthstand some cooler temperatures, they will then go outside and forage around for grass and bugs that gives our chicken a superior taste then store bought chicken.

🍗 We still have some half chickens from our last batch available for just $5/pound!
