Since 1949, Kelsey Farm has been teaching young people to ride. Our students benefit from year-round professional trainers, a small teacher/student ratio and show quality ponies and horses. We offer riding lessons, summer camp, showing, and both full board (a horse or pony of your own) and share board (a 3-day per week pony-share program). Facilities
Our farm features turnout in paddocks equipped
with run-in sheds, both indoor and outdoor arenas, a cross-country course, eleven box stalls, and a heated tack room and viewing area. We have direct access to the Greenwich riding trails. Philosophy
At Kelsey Farm, we offer a safe space for kids to compete, learn, play, get dirty and find their best selves. Our farm is a world apart from the pressure and fast-pace of present day life. We are a haven of acceptance, mutual respect, dedication to the sport of horseback riding. Building relationships between horse and rider is the foundation of good horsemanship. We believe that grooming and handling horses benefits animals and humans alike. To that end, our students groom and tack up their horses. They learn about anatomy, veterinary maintenance, feeding and proper horse care. We make more than riders; we make true horsemen.
