Thank you to Greenwich Free Press for sharing a bit of our story.

It’s been a strange few months, but we’re fully back open and grateful for everyone who has stopped in, checked in, or sent people our way.

Hope to see you at the shop soon.

Corey Fine had only just taken over ownership last July and remodeled in August when a car crashed through the side of his liquor store on William Street. He said he was so grateful to the neighborhood, as well as other liquor store owners who have been supportive.

Hard to believe this was 10 years ago.

Been really lucky to have some incredible experiences in the wine industry, however a private dinner at is definitely up there.

Seven weeks ago a car drove straight through the front of the shop.

It’s been a long, painful process getting everything repaired.

But we’re finally almost there.

Final inspection Monday.
Then Continental is back open.

We’re incredibly grateful to Greenwich Free Press for sharing our story.

After the crash into our storefront in January, repairs are underway — but Continental Fine Wine & Spirits is still very much open.

We’re currently offering local delivery, curbside pickup, cellar consultations, and private wine events.

If you need wine, beer, or spirits, just call or text the shop and we’ll take care of you.

Thank you to the Greenwich community for all the support. We can’t wait to bring back our Friday tastings once the repairs are complete.

I’ve never introduced myself on here so today feels like the right day.

It’s my birthday.

I’m Corey. I own Continental Fine Wines.

We moved to Greenwich for my wife’s career, and I decided it was time to build something of my own. After more than a decade in California wine country and earning my Certified Sommelier along the way, I didn’t just want to talk about great bottles anymore. I wanted to create a place centered around them.

So I bought a shop that’s been part of this town since 1963.

This past year forced me to rebuild parts of the business and get very clear on what I believe a wine shop should be.

If it’s on the shelf, I stand behind it.

If you’ve walked in, trusted a recommendation, or supported the store thank you. You’re part of that bet.

2026 started off really well, and then a car came through the store.

I’ll be honest — being stuck waiting on insurance is tough. Patience isn’t my strong suit. But I’m still here and still doing takeout and local delivery every day.
