Horse Soldier Whiskey is more than just a bottle on the shelf — it’s a tribute to American courage and sacrifice.

After the attacks of September 11, 2001, a small team of U.S. Army Green Berets was sent into Afghanistan on one of America’s first counterattack missions. Fighting alongside Afghan allies in rugged mountain terrain, these soldiers rode horseback into battle — becoming known as the legendary “Horse Soldiers.”

Their story inspired the book Horse Soldiers, the movie 12 Strong, and the America’s Response Monument near Ground Zero in New York City.

Years later, several of those veterans founded Horse Soldier Bourbon to honor the brotherhood, bravery, and legacy forged during that mission. Early bottle molds even contained steel recovered from the World Trade Center site, creating a direct connection to the history and sacrifice behind the brand.

Every bottle represents resilience, patriotism, and the spirit of those who served.
