We're pleased to see Sorenson Contractor K55 is still getting his scratches. The Tveit family purchased him in 2023, and it's always special to see our bulls join reputable families and ranches.

🔹Docility🔹

Embedded within our motto and ranch practices, docility is a trait we hold in high esteem. Docility is of high importance when we select cattle to retain in our herd and for the heifers and bulls we purchase from other breeders. We adhere a strict standard of if we feel uncomfortable around any heifer or bull, we are not going to keep that animal on our ranch and we certainly are not going to put it in a sale for our customers to buy. Our pursuit is to uphold a consistent level of docility in all the cattle under our care, ensuring they remain easy to handle and safe for interaction across all generations. This standard is upheld not just on sale day but consistently throughout the heifer or bulls life.

So when we get sent a picture like the one below from a great family and repeat customer, its fills our hearts with joy and pride knowing something we strive so hard for is accomplished. Mr Sorenson Ignite L55 was purchased by the Rolla family in 2024. We are happy to see he is still docile as ever and enjoying his scratches in the pasture.

We wrapped up on our biggest and most challenging hay ground. Feels good to have it completed and a big thanks to our hard working crew! The quantity wasn’t quite where we wanted it but the quality was sure excellent!

Now off to our pivots to make more cow chow! 🚜🤠

Happy 4th of July Eve!

Yesterday we had a great day of checking cows! It’s truly exciting to see how much growth and performance the cattle gain each time we see them! Already looking forward to being back in a week or two and taking more pictures!
