We have a volunteer day, pizza party, pumpkin carving extravaganza coming up on Saturday, October 17th, 10am-1pm and you’re invited! We’ll be working on our fence project (bordering Kelso Rd. to keep kiddos safe when they visit for field trips), slinging pizzas made in our new cob oven with farm fresh produce (low gluten and dairy options available but everything will be made in the same oven), and carving our pumpkins (which you can take home). Pizza and pumpkins are free for anyone who volunteers that day! Everyone is welcome, please register at the Volunteer Sign Up link in our bio so we know how many people will want pizzas!

We spent a beautiful October day doing yoga with Emily Faye and learning about natural inks and dyes from Roya. We used walnuts, marigold, dahlia, dyers coreopsis, and more to paint and dye fabric. We also ate fresh grapes, soaked in the sunshine, snacked in the garden, and appreciated the fleeting warmth and color of fall.

AMAZING volunteer day with this New Seasons crew!!! Thank you so much New Seasons Market friends for working so hard today. We thought you were going to help us dig fence post holes, which is hard enough, but you finished that in less than an hour so you also dug holes for our future cob oven roof, raked a ton of leaves, built shelves for our shop kitchen, harvested grapes, turned our compost chaos piles, removed ivy, transplanted some thimbleberry to a new spot, removed tape from cardboard so we can use it in garden projects and more!! We can’t believe the energy, strength, positivity, and kindness of this crew! We’re floored and so very grateful for all they helped us to accomplish today 👏👏👏👏

Interested in some yoga at Thimbleberry? On Sunday, from 1pm-4pm we will be hosting a workshop with yoga and an exploration of natural inks! The workshop will open and conclude with yoga led by Emily, who will help us ground in the space as we think about all the colors that can be captured and appreciated. This Saturday, October 4th, from 1-4pm we will be having a natural inks and yoga workshop at the farm! Join us to ground in this space, collect color from the garden, and play with the process of capturing natural pigment. Tickets are available on our website and at the link in our bio!
Natural inks will be led by Roya Motamedi, yoga will be led by Emily Dalsfoist.

🌾 Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 5th annual Harvest Celebration!! We think this might have been our best one yet ❤️. It was especially fun to see so many kiddos running around enjoying the c***r press, grape-picking, paper tractor-making, bounce house, DIY bird feeder making and more! Thank you again to Orchard Drive Band for the great music, La Cuchara for the delicious food, Boring Brewing for the donated quarter keg, Sandy Mobile Library for paying us a visit (Sandy), and Michelle Smith and Portland Nursery for sponsoring our event! A big thank you to all the wonderful donors who contributed items to our auction, too! Happy harvest season, everyone 🍁

The Harvest Celebration auction is now open! Check out the packages at the link in our bio. Remember, you don’t need to be present at the event to win. Although we hope to see you there :). And the auction will close at 1:30pm this Saturday the 19th, half an hour before the end of the event. Happy bidding!
