He's calming down a little more everyday he's not like a deer when we walk out in the pasture and throw his head and trot away. Hopefully I can get him pinned up for a few weeks with some others and get him to understand people aren't bad. Some sweet feed tends to change a lot....the fastest way to their heart is through their stomach 😊

These white face calves will be weaned next weekend. We are more than likely keeping all the heifers. The white face bull calf will be looking for new pastures once he's fully weaned. If you are looking to focus on grass genetics look no further. These calves have been running on their mother's milk and grass. Notice our grass isn't lush and these calves have grown exceptionally well and are fleshy on low quality grass. Sorry the bull calf never stops to pose for his pictures 🙄😒 I'll catch him standing still one of these days.

Update on the two new calves born recently. Both are confirmed heifers! 😁 Now we wait on Cookie who should be calving within the next 3 weeks. 🤞 Fingers crossed she gives me a heifer, all she's given me in the past 4 or 5 years has been bulls and I'd love to get a few more heifers out of her now that she's 9yrs old. Pickles will be our last one to calve, she's due more around September sometime. And hopefully we pull blood on Brandy and find out she's also bred back to General 🤞
